This is a paid service which tracks using a device located on the boat.
In order for it to work we have to push the button each day and it will track us as we travel.
Once activated for the day, it should upload our position about every 10 minutes or until we stop it.
This page is designed to automatically update.

The AIS, government system tracking system is here (opens in a new window).
It doesn't work unless we happen to be in range of a VHF station which is about 20 miles.
It will remain active on the boat as it notifies other AIS users when we are close by as well as alerting us to their presence.
This is more of a saftey device.
